DRESS

code

At Delaware Center for Dance, our dress code is mandatory and reflects the standard of excellence, discipline, and professionalism we expect from every dancer. Proper attire allows our faculty to clearly observe alignment and technique while helping dancers enter the studio prepared, focused, and ready to train.

Dancers are expected to arrive in the designated leotard color, proper tights, and required dance shoes for their class or level.

Please remember:

  • No visible undergarments beneath leotards or dancewear

  • Tights must be clean and free of holes, runs, or tears

  • No jewelry during class

  • Hair must be neat, secured, and pulled away from the face

  • Proper dance shoes are required for each discipline

  • Dancewear should be clean, fitted, and appropriate for movement

  • Street clothing is not permitted in place of required dance attire

Dress code is not optional. Consistent presentation is part of the training experience at DCFD. We ask all families to help dancers arrive prepared so that class time can remain focused on discipline, artistry, growth, and excellence.
